SPW Productions was awarded the Silver Pinnacle Award by the International Festivals & Events Association on September 19, 2007 at IFEA’s 53rd Annual Conference & Expo in Atlanta, Georgia. The Silver Pinnacle Award was awarded to SPW Productions for the Best Event to Benefit a Charity for "Rumble in the Kitchen."

”Rumble in the Kitchen” was one of the many new events produced in 2007 by SPW Productions. “Rumble in the Kitchen” was the brain child of the Loews Philadelphia Hotel which brought together four culinary teams, each representing a charity, for the ultimate cooking challenge.

The 2007 calendar year was full of other unique and varied projects for SPW Productions, more than 30 events in all. In addition to Rumble, other new projects included Phlash Days, a marketing and promotions campaign for Center City District Phlash Bus; Macy’s Center City Philadelphia fashion events; Restaurant Week/Mercedes Benz Mobile Marketing campaign for Center City District; Terrific Pacific, presented by Philadelphia Magazine and the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, a wine tasting showcasing wines from the Pacific Region.

The balance of 2007 into 2008 looks to be equally successful for SPW Productions. The SPW Productions team is poised for continuing the standard of excellence in event production.
