Sharon Phillips Waxman's professional experience includes more than 30 years in the field of Special Events Marketing Production. Her company, SPW Productions, LLC, is a full-service special events production company handling both large and small-scale events marketing and strategic planning since 1992.

Sharon graduated from New Jersey's Glassboro State College with a BA in Communications. Her talents in special and fashion-related events developed while working for Gimbels in Philadelphia from 1980 through 1983. She held several executive positions, including fashion coordinator and Thanksgiving Day Parade costume and make-up coordinator, giving her an introduction to both special events and the fashion industry.

As Owner/Director of Phillips Models in Philadelphia, a full-service modeling agency, she managed talent for fashion and commercial print, radio, television, convention, promotion and runway modeling. In addition, Ms. Waxman owned and operated Allure Finishing and Modeling School in Philadelphia.

Sharon also served as special events consultant for Synergistic Concepts, Inc. in New York, and was responsible for the creative and operational execution of major events including the Philadelphia Freedom Festival, Baltimore Columbus Day Celebration, Maryland Preakness Parade, the Philadelphia Welcome Home Parade, Baltimore Families of Faith Parade celebrating the visit of Pope John Paul II, and a "Snapple Parade" staged for television, under the direction of Spike Lee.

Sharon Phillips Waxman is the President of the International Special Events Society (ISES) New Jersey South. She is a member of the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau, the International Festivals and Events Association, the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey and eWomen’s Network. She sits on the Moore College of Art and Designs Fashion Advisory Board and The Art Institute of Philadelphia's Fashion Marketing Advisory Board. Sharon is also an Adjunct Professor at Moore College of Art and Design.

Sharon has recently composed and presented seminars on “Branding – What Your Image Says About You” and “Fundraising Events – Start Thinking Outside of the Box!”

In 2004, Sharon Phillips Waxman was named recipient of the Phashion Phest Philadelphia Award, created by the City of Philadelphia and presented annually since 1994 to an individual who has made a significant impact on the fashion industry in the region.

Event Coordinator

Courtney Craig’s passion for high-energy, exciting events led her to a career at SPW Productions. As an Event Coordinator, Courtney has worked on several major projects such as the PIFA Fashion Show, the Cherry Blossom Festival’s Sakura Sunday, Get in the Game, the Gary Papa Run, and several Wells Fargo Unveiling events. Currently she is busy planning the 18th annual Phashion Phest.

Courtney, a New Jersey native, graduated in 2010 from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Sport and Entertainment Management. Prior to joining SPW Productions, Courtney was a public relations intern for the Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina where she worked on numerous campaigns. She was also a communications intern at Unlimited Marketing Solutions, a marketing and event management firm in Columbia, South Carolina. It was her love of special events that brought Courtney to SPW Productions. Courtney came on board full time with SPW Productions in March of 2011. Courtney’s responsibilities include on-site management, logistics and research. Courtney’s love for the fast-paced business of special events keeps her enthusiastic and excited for new projects.

Production Assistant

Jacqueline McBreen graduated from The Art Institute of Philadelphia with a BS Degree in Fashion Marketing.

Prior to joining the SPW Productions team, Jacque completed an internship with SPW in the Spring of 2008. During this time, she also worked for Aramark Sports and Entertainment, as a Retail/Merchandising Supervisor at Citizens Bank Park for the Philadelphia Phillies. As a retail/merchandising supervisor, she provided customer service, assistance for all sports merchandise, and ran daily reports for all retail locations.

Jacque joined the SPW Productions team in May 2008. Joining the SPW Productions team has been productive, fulfilling and fun for Jacque. As a Production Assistant, she has worked on a variety of upbeat and energetic events which include the Philadelphia Wine Festival, Get in the Game, Center City District Phlash Bus Promotions, the 10th Anniversary of the Philadelphia Market Place Food and Shops, Run 4 Your Life…Beat Prostate Cancer, Southwest Airlines July 4th Parade, Taste of Philadelphia and Phashion Phest. Along with working on events Jacque also prepares informative presentations for prospective clients, and attends monthly networking events, meeting new and current faces in the industry.

Jacque joined the SPW Productions team in May 2008. Currently she provides onsite management of events.

Project Manager

Jennifer graduated from University of Maryland with a BS in Health and Human Performance.
Prior to working with SPW Productions, Jennifer worked for three years planning events and promoting the space at World Cafe Live while creating their Private Events department since its opening. During that time she planned corporate, social, and fund raising events from 20-1,000 guests.

Before that she was employed at SEI Investments to create a Corporate Concierge position to serve over 1,200 employees.  While achieving this and growing the position to help the company win its "Top 100 Companies to Work For" designation as listed in Forbes she also planned employee, client appreciation / incentive, and charitable events of all sizes throughout the country for them.

Her love of the city of Philadelphia is what keeps her enthusiastic to take on new projects and help others to enjoy and learn about the city and its surrounding areas.

Jennifer joined the SPW Productions team in May 2008. Recent projects include the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival and Wawa Welcome America.
