Sharon graduated from New Jersey's Glassboro State College with a BA in Communications. Her talents in special and fashion-related events developed while working for Gimbels in Philadelphia from 1980 through 1983. She held several executive positions, including fashion coordinator and Thanksgiving Day Parade costume and make-up coordinator, giving her an introduction to both special events and the fashion industry. As Owner/Director of Phillips Models in Philadelphia, a full-service modeling agency, she managed talent for fashion and commercial print, radio, television, convention, promotion and runway modeling. In addition, Ms. Waxman owned and operated Allure Finishing and Modeling School in Philadelphia. Sharon also served as special events consultant for Synergistic Concepts, Inc. in New York, and was responsible for the creative and operational execution of major events including the Philadelphia Freedom Festival, Baltimore Columbus Day Celebration, Maryland Preakness Parade, the Philadelphia Welcome Home Parade, Baltimore Families of Faith Parade celebrating the visit of Pope John Paul II, and a "Snapple Parade" staged for television, under the direction of Spike Lee. Sharon Phillips Waxman is the President-Elect of the International Special Events Society (ISES) New Jersey South. She is a member of the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau, the International Festivals and Events Association, the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey and eWomen’s Network. She sits on the Moore College of Art and Designs fashion advisory board, and The Art Institute of Philadelphia's fashion advisory board, and is an adjunct professor at Moore College of Art and Design In 2004, Sharon Phillips Waxman was named recipient of the Phashion Phest Philadelphia Award,, created by the City of Philadelphia and presented annually since 1994 to an individual who has made a significant impact on the fashion industry in the region. Amy received a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Marketing from The Art Institute of Philadelphia. Amy interned with SPW Productions in 2004 and it was there that she grew to love working in special events production. After completing her first internship with SPW Productions, Amy accepted an additional internship in the marketing department at The Franklin Institute. Upon Graduation Amy went to work for a magazine publishing company where she worked to plan large scale trade shows and medical conventions. But it was her love of the many diverse events that brought her back to SPW Productions. Amy came on board full time with SPW Productions in March of 2008. Amy’s responsibilities include on-site management, logistics and research. Amy loves the fast-paced business of special events and that keeps her enthusiastic and excited for new projects. Prior to joining the SPW Productions team, Jacque completed an internship with SPW in the Spring of 2008. During this time, she also worked for Aramark Sports and Entertainment, as a Retail/Merchandising Supervisor at Citizens Bank Park for the Philadelphia Phillies. As a retail/merchandising supervisor, she provided customer service, assistance for all sports merchandise, and ran daily reports for all retail locations. Jacque joined the SPW Productions team in May 2008. Joining the SPW Productions team has been productive, fulfilling and fun for Jacque. As a Production Assistant, she has worked on a variety of upbeat and energetic events which include the Philadelphia Wine Festival, Get in the Game, Center City District Phlash Bus Promotions, the 10th Anniversary of the Philadelphia Market Place Food and Shops, Run 4 Your Life…Beat Prostate Cancer, Southwest Airlines July 4th Parade, Taste of Philadelphia and Phashion Phest. Along with working on events Jacque also prepares informative presentations for prospective clients, and attends monthly networking events, meeting new and current faces in the industry. Prior to joining SPW Productions, Zach was a Promotions Assistant at Q102; WIOQ-FM Philadelphia where he promoted this top 40 Radio Station and interacted with listeners at appearances, concerts and street patrols. In the summer of 2008 Zach worked with the Atlantic City Surf serving as a marketing intern. Also, Zach worked with InVision Marketing Solutions as a As a Production Coordinator Zach's responsibilities include on-site event management, talent management, logistics and research. He has worked on a variety of events which include the Philadelphia Wine Festival, Get in the Game, Center City District Phlash Bus Promotions, Southweast Airlines July 4th Parade, Taste of Philadelphia and Phashion Phest. Prior to joining SPW Productions, Jenifer was a marketing manager for a medical publisher. An important responsibility in her position was coordinating detailed arrangements for large displays at medical conventions. In 2005, Jenifer started with SPW Productions as a Freelance Event Coordinator at Best of Style. She has assisted with many other events, including Best of Philly, Whiskey Festival, Philly Cooks, and Phashion Phest. Before that she was employed at SEI Investments to create a Corporate Concierge position to serve over 1,200 employees. While achieving this and growing the position to help the company win its "Top 100 Companies to Work For" designation as listed in Forbes she also planned employee, client appreciation / incentive, and charitable events of all sizes throughout the country for them. Her love of the city of Philadelphia is what keeps her enthusiastic to take on new projects and help others to enjoy and learn about the city and its surrounding areas.
